Alba Baptista is a Portuguese actress born in Lisbon, Portugal, on July 10, 1997. Alba Baptista’s mother, a translator by profession, is native Portuguese, while her father, an engineer, is Brazilian. She started her career as an actress in her home Portugal with the 2014–2015 television series Jardins Proibidos. After that, she acted in several Portuguese TV shows and movies, including A Impostora, Filha da Lei, Jogo Duplo and A Criaço. She made her English acting debut in the series Warrior Nun, which debuted in 2020.

As mentioned earlier, Alba Baptista is an actress with natural talent. She began her career as the main character in a Miami short film. Alba won the Best Actress at the Festival Ibérico de Cine for her astonishing performance. She further developed her career by participating in the telenovela A Impostora, a TVI-broadcast Portuguese telenovela. António Barreira wrote the screenplay, while Jorge Queiroga is the director. On September 4, 2016, the telenovela debuted, running until November 30, 2017.
Alba Baptista also contributed to the making of another telenovela, Jogo Duplo, in December 2017, which depicts separated adolescents Margarida and Joao meeting up again in Macao. Wealthy mafia leader Joo travels back to Portugal to recapture Margarida. He must balance urbanity, rurality, and luxury tourism in Portugal. The former boss of Joo, Manuel Qiang, returns to Portugal to establish a criminal business empire.
The Portuguese star, Alba Baptista, also acted in the series A Criaço. The sitcom centres on several tasks that an advertising firm assigns to a customer, and each episode highlights the insanity of the creative process. The personnel are portrayed by actors wearing animal costumes, heightening the strange setting.
Alba went on to have a fruitful cinema career in Portugal in the following years, playing the lead in three popular series.
