Calvin Chrane is an actor famous for having contributed to making the all-time famous movie franchise Mission: Impossible. It is now a run of American action spy movies based on Bruce Geller’s 1966 television series. Tom Cruise, who plays Impossible Missions Force (IMF) agent Ethan Hunt, is the primary producer and star of the series. Various directors, writers, and crews have directed, written, and composed the films using musical themes from Lalo Schifrin’s original series.
Calvin Chrane also contributed to “The Streets of San Francisco (1972)”, a Quinn Martin Productions-produced American television crime drama shot in San Francisco. The program’s first season was produced in collaboration with Warner Bros. Television, and then QM made the show independently for the rest of its run.
Calvin Chrane was involved in creating a contemporary Western/crime drama, Cade’s County, which debuted on CBS on Sundays at 9:30 p.m. (EST) in 1971–1972 when it was first shown. Twenty-four episodes were produced.

Not much is known regarding Calvin Chrane’s former wife, Patricia Pearcy, but regarding his current wife, Susan Howard, originally Jeri Lynn Mooney, is an American actress, political activist, and writer. She co-starred on Petrocelli (1974–1976) and as Donna Culver Krebbs on Dallas (1979–1987). She belongs to the Writers Guild of America and writes screenplays as well. On January 28, 1944, Susan was born to Cassell and Melba Ruth Mooney in Marshall, Texas. James is her older brother. Her family is from Cork and is of Irish descent.
Growing up in Marshall, Mooney’s acting skill was acknowledged early while living there. During high school, she was awarded Best Actress by the University Interscholastic League. She studied drama and was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority during her two years at the University of Texas after graduating from Marshall High School in 1960. She then moved to Los Angeles to study acting at the Los Angeles Repertory Company. Since her father had given her the moniker Susie and Howard, a family name, she eventually adopted the stage name Susan Howard.
In the 1960s and early 1970s, Howard made several well-known cameos on television series, including The Flying Nun (1967), I Dream of Jeannie (1968), Star Trek’s “Day of the Dove” (1968), Bonanza (1969), Mannix (1969), Mission: Impossible (1972), and Columbo (1972). In the original Star Trek series, she played the first and only female Klingon (named “Mara”) to speak. She made her television debut as Evan Sands in the 1973 episode “Who Framed Billy the Kid?” of Lorne Greene’s Griff, starring Nick Nolte as Billy Randolph.
Howard was chosen to be a co-star in the television series Petrocelli in 1974. Her performance received nominations for an Emmy and a Golden Globe. In 1976, the show was cancelled despite Howard receiving high praise from critics. From 1962 to 1964, Howard was wed to actor Charles Howerton. Lynn was their lone daughter. She married independent film executive Calvin Chrane in 1974. Since 1998, she and her spouse have made Boerne, Texas, their home. She authored two Dallas episodes and is a Writers Guild of America member.
