Sally Bergeron was married to American actor Dennis Cole, born on July 19, 1940, and passed away on November 15, 2009, who worked in television and movies. Throughout the 1960s and 1970s, Cole was a well-known figure on screen, making cameos in several TV shows. Following his son Joe Cole’s death in 1991, he became an activist and started speaking out against violence on television.

Actress Jaclyn Smith, Cole’s second wife, was discovered after he made a cameo appearance on Charlie’s Angels in 1976. They courted for 19 months before getting married. They were wed in 1978 and divorced in 1981. His sole child from his previous marriage to Sally Bergeron, Joe Cole, was shot and killed in 1991 at the age of thirty during an attempted home invasion robbery in the Venice neighborhood of Los Angeles. That crime hasn’t been solved yet. Following his son’s passing, Cole became an activist, speaking out against screen violence. In 1999, Dennis Cole, the ex-husband of Sally Bergeron, moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he started his real estate firm and worked as a real estate broker with his third wife, Marjorie Cole, whom he married in 2004. Celebrity Realty, Inc. was owned and operated by the couple. Following allegations of domestic abuse that ultimately led to Cole’s imprisonment for obstruction of justice, the couple filed for divorce in 2008. Dennis Cole, at age 69, passed away from renal failure at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on November 15, 2009. He was interred at Hollywood Hills Cemetery’s Forest Lawn in Los Angeles.
